There seem's to be some debate on what build is more effective then others... i cant tell you how many people IG told me to "use an assasin noob"... to me it was laughable... after using every character class with the exception of paragon i can say, your character is only as good as the rest of your team.... in my opinion what character you choose means nothing if you are on a team with no orginization.

Im not here to complain... i am just here to say, if you are IG and telling people what character to use followed by colorful verbs... do us all a favor... unplug your keyboard and hit it against your forehead.... repeatedly...

that aside this is my first costume brawl and im enjoying it allot....

New builds are more important than your winning streak. Get over it.

I'm sure that you don't have the right insignas/runes on your armor. I'm not saying that you are unexperienced, i cant know, but i never had a 35 cons wins, *insert pvp rank showoff here* so you should be grateful for your team. Dont be sad , either angry.

Peace
This is win.

Im surprised you made it that far with what you have sin. I highly doubt u had much to do with that streak. 2 days ago we had a team of 2 sins 1 war 1 ele 1 monk and got to 83 consec. Only 2 matches were in my mind considerd close matches and that was a 20-17 and a 20-18 game against the same synch team. The team i was on was not synch but after the 20th consec the other 3 people on the team hoped on vent with me and a friend. Once on vent the games were insanely easy. Only reason we lost was because 2 people dced out, couldnt reconnect. Sadely we lost that match 19-20

It's pretty annoying when anet interupt the community with 5 builds in one weekend, all at peak times and just to add insult to injury, don't even tell us what the builds were for.

Monks - I play as a monk, Assassin's are either really good or really bad. There is a reason why you save bane signet. It's a chain stopper. My worst fears is a good Mesmer, their interrupts can drain my energy to no end. If Smite Hex is interrupted 24/7 the Mesmer can put our team in serious trouble. Necro's hexes is my damage dealer, a smart Necro will spam hexes on multiple members causing pressure to me instead of doing it on a assassin which I can deal 80 damage to his chain thanks to the Necro.

Elementalists - They can do high damage to me (~115 damage) with my anti-lightning weapons. On the downside they are slow when it comes to casting, the plus side is they can heal themselves fairly well. Oh, half the Elementalists I fight cast Blinding Flash on me, GG on spell spam.

Assassins - I am RoJ, assassins has strong KD. Ray of Judgment + Assassin's spike = instant death. It's godly together and I don't use RoJ until I see the palm strike.

Warriors - They are Decent, but I have yet seen one take me down. Seriously, spamming Bulls Strike doesn't work that well. Oh and my favorite Warriors are the ones without the +1 second knockdown.

Rangers - If you see a ranger that doesn't spam Salvage Shot on a monk please let me know!

Necro's - Very heavy degen, good, now instead of just focusing on me your should watch your buddy who just got RoJ+Assassin spiked. Spread the degen and you can cause a ton of pressure.

Dervishes - These are better than Warriors IMO, they can spam spells with being less stupid.

your are seriously wrong. According to some forumners on my previous thread, how much points u get from a randomized game determine how good or how bad u are. since he got 35 consecutive wins, all of us who dont get 35 consecutive wins are noobs and he is a pro. The end

your weapon sets tell me you aren't as good as you seem to think you are. that, or you shamelessly admit that the "decent" players carried you through that streak.

I don't even get 10 streaks. Are gamer points really that important?

Considering that attack skills have no activation time (ignore attack time), you really have to know the timing. I am interrupting whatever comes after Palm Strike but it's tricky. Can't catch Palm Strike with Tease fast enough.

I'm surprised anybody doesn't realize this. Offensive weapon spells (even without CB) = FTW.

sins pretty much roll over everything from what I have experienced.

Monks seem to go under the radar though because while their builds are failed PvP builds most of the people in american districts are fail so RoJ actually works due to people not running out of it. Rits heal better then monks (lolwut) and at times can be resourcefull if you happen to get on a melee heavy team.

Eles build are pointless against sins. Ele Blinds Sin, Sin touches ele Sigs then chains, ele is dead.

I've been playing Ranger and sin mostly and can pretty much just gank anything. Sin is def OP this year.

While I agree that Mesmer is well worth playing and viable as a substitute for the Ele, the Ele is just better at movement control. At the team level, I'll cheerfully trade the Mesmer's superior DPS and more consistent Sin hate for the ability to make multiple targets stop moving or lock down a single target.

The Ele bar is not nearly the soloist the Mesmer is. But if you're fighting 1v1s, you already made an error. From a team perspective, the Ele is superior even if the Mesmer has the superior individual bar.

This is similar to the way it ends up working out in Snowball Arena. The Mesmer is strong in random pairings, but the synergy in 8v8 from multiple Eles is difficult to ignore.

The bar is just bad. On the other hand, they'd be monsters if you gave them the Hammer Bash/Heavy Blow. 9 seconds of quarterknocking would be rough. Of course, 90% of Warriors in Costume Brawl would be incapable of pulling that off.

Snow you know I love you as much as a man can love another man but the mesmers are bad.

Unluckly for me i had to waint 20 more match.

The rare instance where we actually met decent team where not worth the insane amount of times we ganked the lone nub who decided to go 1 vs 5
You can leave when the timer leading up to the next match starts and your team will get somebody new and you won't get dishonorable.

Titles aren't important but the gamer title is just cool looking, thats the reason I'm playing this year even after getting the rank needed for hall display. Plus for a lot of people that play cb is loads of fun

actually, lots of good players use bullstrike on a random when they are anticipating you will run, nothing wrong there.
